For too long, decisions affecting our suburbs, our rates, and our precious open spaces have been made behind closed doors. Individual voices are too easily sidelined by municipal bureaucracies, leaving local people out of the equation.

The Solution: An Independent Watchdog

Ratepayers & Residents NT is being established to create a real, lasting shift in community advocacy. We are building a permanent, independent, non-party political watchdog dedicated to:

Enforcing Council Accountability: Holding local government to account for how rates are spent and decisions are made.
Demanding Planning Transparency: Ensuring development processes are open, fair, and clear to the public.
Protecting Open Spaces: Fiercely defending green spaces, public land, and local environments across the entire Northern Territory.

An independent voice requires an independent foundation—built directly by the community, for the community.

Our power is in our numbers. To ensure we launch with the strength and tools needed to challenge the status quo, we are asking for a conditional pledge of $100.

No Money Collected Now: Your commitment is entirely conditional and 100% risk-free.

Conditional Activation: Funds will only be requested once all 100 founding pledges are locked in and Ratepayers & Residents NT is formally incorporated with its own dedicated, independent bank account.
